I write to inform you about a minor increment in mobile phone innovation but, one that should ideally be installed on every mobile phone. Our innovation allows users to easily and effectively manage lists on mobile phones and thus help to both reduce energy consumption and correspondingly benefit the environment. While the innovation may lack technical sophistication it is none-the-less easy to implement and use and requires no data service to operate, a plus to multitudes seeking a cheap means to both organize and save time and money. Visually impaired are even using our software.

Several years ago I was busy and found myself frequently revisiting stores for forgotten items, a waste of time and money. There was a need for a better and simpler means to list. Like most, I struggle to keep track of slips of paper and generally want to add items to lists at inopportune times, like when driving or jogging. I tackled the problem by utilizing what existed, the ability of mobile phones to create voice notes and perform simple voice command recognition. I developed a program that allows users to create their own list names, like ‘Corner Grocery’, and open and add voice note items to these lists using very simple, intuitive voice commands. Because of the limited amount of voice commands used the recognition results are very high. Text items can still be added and these can be spoken to users using Text-To-Speech.

So, in short, we have a new mobile phone voice recognition list technology that produces high recognition results. Mobile phone voice lists are simple, easy to use and effective. We offer an alternative to complicated keypad data entry list programs for the mobile environment. All a person’s lists are easily accessed on their phone. Frequently, all users need is the ability to record list items quickly and easily when mobile. Mobile voice lists can provide that service. Best of all, voice lists can be implemented with no consumption of raw materials, no brick and mortar production facility, and no packaging or shipping. In an age where businesses struggle to balance innovation with gains in efficiency, we believe mobile voice lists stand alone.

A recent user in San Francisco wrote the following review for online software reseller Handango, “This is one of the best applications that I have found and the only one that provides great voice recognition, voice notes and text input all in one which makes if very convenient and easy to use. I’d like to see more applications offer similar diverse inputting options so I can choose the best one for any situation. I highly recommend this product!”

We would like to see mobile voice list become as ubiquitous on mobile phones as cameras. Voice lists can promote energy efficiency, save users’ time and money, and present handset OEMs with a new offering. We write to get the word out about voice listing. Demos can be seen at our web address of www.voicerecognitionlists.com.

Thank you for your time.
